Welcome to the Lebanon/Laclede County Historical Museum and Society, Inc, the Missouri crossroads of The Trail of Tears, the old Wire Road (telegraph), the first regional railroad, the original Route 66 (old 14), and the home of the first 13-mile construction of what was once the new Route 66, now known as Interstate 44.
We are glad that our paths crossed yours as we bring history back to life as we educate generations to come in old trades, crafts, and amazing facts of our forefathers!
Lebanon/Laclede County Historical Museum and Society meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30-7:30 at the VFW located at 1617 Lynn Street Lebanon, Missouri. Meetings are open to the public.
Lebanon/Laclede County Historical Museum and Society presented some plaques to those who spent many hours dedicated to the former Historical Society and to others who are helping support our new endeavors. Thank you all.
